How many people go smoothly if want to get a wonderful marriage? Mouxin who is from Hubei of 

China and Kim who is from Korea, they both had so much hardship before getting a wonderful marriage.

 Mouxin was working in Dali after graduation and miss Kim was studying Chinese in Beijing that time, when 

she was travelling in Dali, they met each other and then had a miracle love and marriage, Kim's parents 

opposed their marriage deeply and firmly, but miss Kim decided to marry Mouxin however. They had the 

love relationship in Lijiang, so they both decided to live in Lijiang. They set up a" Sakura Kim Cafe" in Lijiang,

Miss Zhang: Twenty is a age that girls know love. Fate may help her to fulfill her wishes, also may 

tormented by fate. Altogether, the all girls in the world get true love are pretty much the same 

things. A new story will begin, the girl may be a Korean, may call Kim. She had a trip at Dali 

of Yunnan in 1996, and the boy whose name is Mouxin who was working at Dali that time.  

              

Mr. Mou: I asked her where was she from, she said she was a" Beijing'er" person. 

Miss Zhang: Beijing?

Mr. Mou: She used the local language, she said she was a" Beijing'er" person.

Miss Zhang: Added"er" especially. 

Mr. Mou: Yean, yean, the accent of"er" was so obviously, but I saw herself did not like a Beijing 

person.

Mrs. Kim: We were afraid of his approaching, so when he asked us where we were going, we did 

not tell him. Then he asked us where to play. We said we didn't know. He said he could 

introduce us the place where he known, and inexpensive, if we went together, that was more 

cheap, so let's go together, he said.

Miss Zhang: Did you have a good time that time?

Mrs. Kim: That was ok.

Miss Zhang: What was your opinion about Mouxin that time?

Mrs. Kim: Just so so, a usual boy.

Mr. Mou: As walking as talking. I found this"child" not only lovely, but also kind-hearted and 

        sincere, just a simple girl, not complex.

Miss Zhang: Well, you had to work the second day.

Mr. Mou: Yean, I had to.

Miss Zhang: So the thing was here.

Mr. Mou: That was my thought that time.

Miss Zhang: It was here originally. The second day, Mouxin went to work, but the romantic thing 

   always different, otherwise called fate, the second day, Mouxin saw Kim again on the road.

Mr. Mou: That night was a very important evening, we went to bar together, just both of us. On the

       way back, there was a boy who sold the rose, then I bought one and sent to her.

Miss Zhang: Well, in her culture, a boy sends a rose to a girl means what?

Mr. Mou: Means love.

Miss Zhang: She known?

Mr. Mou: She known.

Mr. Mou: Cried because of touch.

Miss Zhang: Really? So did you have the exact arrange? For example, we would have the 

relationship as lovers, and about your own future?

Mr. Mou: No, it was shy to say it that time. I didn't speak out about loving her and about what

         would we do in the future.

Miss Zhang: Do you remember the feeling when you said goodbye? Because you known yourself

loved the girl very much, maybe she also loved you, but now you should say goodbye and 

then had no any relationship, and then stayed at different places forever.

Mr. Mou: Yean, I thought about this all night. I had no the feeling before, which let me have 

sleepless night because of a girl, really had no!The second day, I thought I must find her 

however.

Miss Zhang: Mouxin just known a information, that was Kim would go to Lijiang. The next 

morning, he took a taxi, just liked a crazy to Lijiang for the girl.

Miss Zhang: Well, we all know that although Lijiang was  not so big, but it also had a new part and old 

         part, the city of two parts, where did you want to find the girl?

Mr. Mou: I was so afraid when the three o'clock was coming that afternoon, I said what would I

do if I couldn't find her. Then I called some people to write some cards, which wrote: Looking 

for miss Kim who comes from Korea. I put these cards out of the all hotels.

Miss Zhang: Did she see it?

Mr. Mou: It was so pity, she didn't and she did not know the Chinese.

Miss Zhang: She didn't know Chinese whether she saw it.

Mr. Mou: Yean, I was so exhausted at fire o'clock in the evening. I said what should I do, I had no 

       any idea.

Miss Zhang: Mouxin exhausted and had lost his spirits, it would be dark and the evening was 

coming. He thought maybe he had no the chance to see her again. What was fate,  this was, 

when he walked slowly in the street, suddenly...

Mr. Mou: I saw some girls were taking photos nearby, included her, I was happy, so happy that time!

I was so exciting, but I made my face keep calm. I said" you see, we meet each other again."

Miss Zhang: Well, a boy chased to Lijiang from another city, and made the fighting revelation for  

       you at every hotel and every place.

Mrs. Kim: Yean.

Miss Zhang: When you known the thing, what was your feeling?

Mrs. Kim: Very happy.

Miss Zhang: Well, that time the feeling between you two, did it have differences which compare with 

        the just mates for playing two days ago?

Mrs. Kim: Yean, I found the man was very good, I felt that he truly loved me that time.

Miss Zhang: The two youngsters felt into love. The girl decided to stay in China. They both 

thought to their happy place of love, the Old Town of Lijiang. So they stayed here, for 

living, they set up a small bar, so small so old and shabby. There were no other bars in Lijiang

that time.The small wooden house became the eyewitness of their happy and also hardship

    life in their future.

Miss Zhang: How small was the bar, what about it?

Mr. Mou: A small one, so small. We two had no experience about setting up a bar, then what would                                                                                                                                                   

       we do? We bought a book, and hung on the wall of kitchen. Cooked the food as the book said.

Miss Zhang: Did as the book said, that was setting up a shop?

Mr. Mou: Set up, yean. At the beginning, most of guests thought the food was not good.

Miss Zhang: I guess Chinese thought it was western-food, and western people thought it was 

     Chinese food, didn't know the food clearly each other.

Mr. Mou: Yean, yean, that was it.( laugh)

Mrs. Kim: I told Mouxin then, I said this was not really western-food, could he allow me to do. I 

didn't know how to do by myself, but I could study, so my hardship began. 

Miss Zhang: Did you cook in Korea?

Mrs. Kim: No, I didn't, even didn't know how to do the pickled vegetables. I just could do the 

       instant noodles.

Miss Zhang: You couldn't cook any food in Korean, even the cold cabbage with red chilli, but you 

should study how to cook in China.

Mrs. Kim: I just put some chilli powder, some garlic and also some salt, pickled the cabbage like 

that. When supplied it, just cut to small ones, and then supplied for guests, they liked it very 

much.  

Miss Zhang: I see your menu, there are Chinese food, Western food, Korean food and Japanese 

food, hundreds of dishes, did you make all of them?

Mrs. Kim: Yes, I made all.

Miss Zhang: Studied all?

Mrs. Kim: Yean, all by myself.

Miss Zhang: In Korea, you needn't do anything. But now, you should do all by yourself and should

cook all what you could not do, did you have complains about these?

Mrs. Kim: I felt wronged, and then would cry. I should work from 7 am. to 2 am. of the next day. 

       So sometimes, just had 4 or 5 hours to sleep.

Miss Zhang: What about your accommodation that time?

Mrs. Kim: Put a wooden  block under stair and then put pad and quilt, it was ok.

Miss Zhang: It was very cold at that wooden house, especially in the evening, I felt when I sat there .

      Well, could you talk about toilet?

Mrs. Kim: Just had a screen with a wall, had no door.

Miss Zhang: Public?

Mrs. Kim: Public, with respirator.

Miss Zhang: Went to toilet with respirator? Did you have the experience in Korea?

Mrs. Kim: No, my Korean friends were crying when they saw these.

Miss Zhang: Why?

Mrs. Kim: I cooked with coal and about my accommodation, the house of Naxi people had holes, 

so wind blowed in, all of these, they felt sad for me.

Miss Zhang: They thought you were so miserable.

Mrs. Kim: Yean, the local people couldn't understand, said a foreign girl had a good life, why came

here, and stayed with a Chinese boy. They thought I just stayed several days for playing and not for long 

time to live here. I didn't want to defeated by them, I thought. Mouxin loved me and 

concerned me very much, in a word, I was very happy that time!

Miss Zhang: Mrs. Kim's parents opposed powerfully about their marriage, because of their home 

was so far and about their hardship life that time. But they ignored the power of love, Kim

stole the seals of parents and had the wedding silently. Very interesting thing was that,

they lost each other on the day, their wedding day, let all friends anxiously to find them everywhere.

Then they went abroad for travelling, they lost each other again in Thailand...

      Now, both of them are Yunnan people, even Mrs. Kim can speak Naxi language. The bar they set up 

that time has become four big different styles bars, which are very famous in the bars-street of

Lijiang. They have warm house and son, Kim's families also accept their daughter's decision now, and

living together with them in Lijiang. The Korean girl's dramatic story will go on!
